Group Condemns Campaign of Calumny Against Acting CG of Immigration Service

The National Association for Good Governance and Democracy (NAGGD) , has condemned the attempt by some people in the country to tarnish the good image of Mr. Idris Isah Jere, the Acting Controller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

In a statement signed by NAGGD president and Secretary, Alhaji Mada Ibrahim and Okpani Mike Odeh Akatu, respectively, challenged Comrade Mukhtar Akoshile to without delay publish the financial misappropriation his group said the Acting CG committed.

We urge the so-called Nigeria Disapora Alliance For Good Governance to publish the details of the alleged financial mismanagement or misappropriation of funds under Jere as soon as possible.

It is not just enough to sit in the comfort zone of your homes, concoct an imaginary allegations and go about blackmailing patriotic officers like Idris Jere, who, through hard-work, honesty and God's grace, was appointed as CG NIS.

For record purposes, it should be noted that Jere was appointed CG of NIS Immigration Service in less than 4 months, and he hit the ground running.

Even before the word "get go," Jere has enumerated his mission and objectives for the NIS and for the country in general.

On the day he was presented to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Acting CG of NIS highlighted some vital components that will form the policy thrust of his administration, including :
Review of Border Security Strategies by allowing a committee of experts to re-examine the strategies in order to determine the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Service's Border Management Policies and Operations;

 ii. Critical assessment of Passport Operations in order to find a long-term solution to the ongoing issue of Passport Booklet scarcity;

iii. Improving staff welfare through massive capacity building and entrepreneurship training for officers and men.

In October, barely one month into his appointment, the Acting CG announced the launch of the Applicants platform, which would enable those applying for Nigerian passports to do that with ease and without corrupting influences.

He further directed that issuance of passports would take only three weeks following all the necessary checks.

With these, the newly appointed CG has eliminated all the bottlenecks associated with  the issuance of passports.

Not done with that, Mr.Idris Jere, a faceless and perhaps unregistered group accused of corruption disguised as an ordinary Nigerian, went to a passport issuing office in a certain part of the country and exposed the monumental corruption going on there.

The question we should ask the so-called Diaspora Alliance group is, Can the devil fight evil?

How does a supposedly corrupt officer, according to your allegations, go all out to root out corruption within his organization in less than a month of his appointment?

"Let it be known that a man who has put in 34 years of service to his nation and to the NIS and has served in various commands and formations, including Adamawa, Borno, and Benue State Commands, among others, cannot be tagged as a corrupt officer by some faceless group.

If Jere was corrupt, the system would have found him out of service long ago.
But as an honest, meticulous, courageous, and gallant officer and loyal fellow, his attributes stood and he has now attained the zenith of his career, which is the desire of every career civil servant or military officer.

Our advice to any hardworking Nigerian is to put heads together and team up with the Acting CG so that he can better patrol our porous borders, curb corruption and raise the standard of living of the men and women of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

MNJTF Decimates Boko Haram, Bunkers Equipments Destroyed

From Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani

In its continued commitment to swiftly end the menace of the insurgency in the Lake Chad Region, the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) recently conducted OP SHARAN FAGE with MNJTF troops drawn from Sector 3 Monguno (Nigeria) and Sector 4 Diffa (Niger).  The recently concluded operation which was heavily supported by OP HADIN KAI (Nigeria) targeted Boko Haram/ISWAP criminal terrorists hibernating in the vicinity of Mallam Fatori town towards the fringes of the Lake Chad.
This was contained in a statement signed by the chief of military public information Headquarters Multi National Joint Task Force N'Djamena Chad and made available to the press on 30th December 2021

In line with its mandate of support for facilitating willing Internally displaced persons and refugees to return voluntarily and safely to their ancestral homes, the MNJTF provided security for the continuous security enhancement work in this area and would do so until the inhabitants return.  The operation also created a favourable atmosphere under which the festivities marking the 63rd Anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Niger was peacefully conducted on 18 December 2021 in Diffa, with His Excellency, President Mohamed Bazoum in attendance.  It should be noted that this was the first such celebration in many years.

Troops met strong resistance from the terrorists, who launched several mortar attacks, laid Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) along the troops route of advance and further attacks with Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIEDs).  However, the troops brought superior fire power to bear on the insurgents forcing them to abandon their enclaves.  Operation SHARAN FAGE was massively supported  by the air component of Operation Hadin Kai and other partners with air assets and surveillance Equipment.  This Support spurred the determined troops to successfully clear enemy hideouts in  and around AREGE, GASHIGAR, ASAGA, KAINOA, BANA and  KAMAGUNMA among other general areas.  In the course of this operation 22 Boko Haram terrorists were neutralised, 5 of their gun trucks destroyed, 5 motorcycles and several logistic bunkers were destroyed while 8 AK47 Rifles were recovered.  Regrettably, 6 members of the  JTF (2 officers and 4 other ranks) from both countries paid the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty with about 16 wounded in action.  17 suspects were arrested in the general area of operations and are being profiled.

On Wednesday, 29 Dec 21, the Force Commander, MNJTF, Maj Gen Abdul Khalifah Ibrahim on a debriefing mission visited the MNJTF Headquarters in Diffa Niger Republic where he addressed the officers and men after receiving an after action brief by the Operational Commanders.  He commended the uncommon display of gallantry professionalism and courage by the troops who have taken the fight to the criminals hideouts in their areas.  He said after listening to the brief, that a lot still needs to be done but this was a good starting point.  He promised to mobilise more equipment and other operational enablers to the Sectors.  He declared year 2022 as a year of decision for the MNJTF as he vowed to uproot the criminals from their hideouts in the lake.  He paid tribute to the fallen heroes whom he described as martyrs of freedom.  He appealed to the people of the Lake Chad Basin to continue to support the MNJTF and to bring forward information.  He further assured them of the MNJTF resolve to clear the operational area and make it safe for all in the coming year in compliance with directives of the Service Chiefs of the Lake Chad Basin Countries.  He was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Force Commander MNJTF, Gen Abdou Assoumane (Niger) and other key commanders of the MNJTF.

Relatedly, in the side line of this visit the FC alongside other MNJTF senior officers decorated some rotating staff of the MNJTF Sector 4 with the MNJTF medal of service.  He thanked them for their meritorious service.  The visit was rounded with a virtual conference with Ambassador Bankole Adeoye, Commissioner for Political Affairs of the African Union Security Council in Addis Ababa who thanked the FC and DFC for their untiring efforts and asked that his best wishes and End of Year/New Year greetings be passed to all members of the MNJTF in all the countries.  He charged the MNJTF to do all it can within its powers to end the crisis in the Lake Chad Basin area soonest.  He assured of the continuous support of the AU Headquarters in achieving this.  Visit was hitchfree and the FC has safely returned to his Headquarters in N’Djamena Chad.

Past Azzaman trade tackles with Omokri over Sundays as day of worship

RENO OMOKRI ,SATURDAY IS THE PROPER DAY OF WORSHIP FOR CHRISTAINS NOT SUNDAY: MY RESPONSE TO RENO OMOKRI

Reno Omokri Said; Going to church on Sundays is European culture. Going to worship on the Sabbath is Scriptural
According to Pastor Reno Omokri

Going to church on Sundays is European culture. Going to worship on the Sabbath is Scriptural-Luke 4:16, Acts 17:2, Exodus 20:8-10, Exodus 31:16.

Reno Omokri Concluded by admonishing Christains by Saying

"Listen brethren, let Scripture be your guide-2 Timothy 3:16, not your pastor, or your denomination, or any argument".

-Reno Omokri
Copied from Holy Ghost TV

My Response to Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri and many who tilt towards the line of his thoughts say, the only correct day to go to church is Saturday, the Sabbath. And Pastor Reno gave the following scriptural verses as his reasons for Saturday is the appropriate day of Christains to worship

1) And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Luke 4:16

2) And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Acts 17:2

3) Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
Exodus 31:16

4) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.  Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:  But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exodus 20:8‭-‬10

People like Reno Omokri and others who tilt along his line  refer to the ten commandments and one of them is “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” And sure enough, the Old Testament says so in Exodus 20:8-11. Which Reno Omokri quoted above. Let me digress a little. Pastor Reno Omokri is Somebody who always hammer against Christians paying tithe and one place Reno Omokri always emphasis is that tithing is Old Testament under the law which was given to Israel not Christains but today I see Pastor Reno Omokri quoting thesame law in the Old Testament given to Israel to justify going to Church on Saturday. Do I say Pastor Reno Omokri only uses scriptures went it suits his line of argument?

Most Christians attend church on Sundays and assert that Sunday is just fine. While people like Pastor Reno Omokri and some Christains disagree.

Why the disagreement? And how do we resolve it?

Immediately after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, Christians began to attend church on Sunday -the day Jesus was resurrected (Acts 20:7)

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Acts 20:7

The above scripture looks more like a Sunday Service than the scriptures Reno Omokri gave above , which I will explain later.

Pastor Reno Omokri either knew Acts 20:7 but decided to skip it to suit his argument in support of Saturday or he hasn't come accross Acts 20:7 before.
Jesus himself spoke of the Sabbath as a ceremonial law. When Jesus died on the cross, he fulfilled the Law and set us free from it’s requirements. Jesus himself didn't come as a Christian but as a Jew, therefore Pastor Reno should not expect Yeshua or Jesus to go to Church on Sunday but Synagogue on Saturday . I  am making reference to Luke 4:16 Pastor Reno Omokri quoted above.

Sunday was also the Jewish feast day of Firstfruits which prophetically foretold the resurrection of Christ. Jesus Christ fulfilled that Jewish feast on his resurrection, so we worship on Sunday.

But there’s even more to the story than that..

Let’s dig into the Word of God and find out why there are strong arguments that it's also fine to worship on Sundays. While most Christian denominations hold Sunday church services, quite a few denominations choose to attend church on Saturday.

They point out –and correctly so- that the Bible proclaims Saturday as the true Sabbath day. (or more accurately -from sundown Friday until sundown Saturday)

And Saturday is a fine day to go to church. In fact, the Bible says regarding this in Romans 14:5b “each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.”

So, then, why do we go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday? Is this going against the Commandments? After all, the commandments specifically state to “Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy.”

Is going to church on a Sunday going against what God has commanded us to do? Not at all. First and foremost, it must be understood that since the Sabbath was a ceremonial law, it was meant solely for Israel, not for anyone else. (Reason Reno Omokri's always bring Christians should not tithe)

The reason why Christians go to church on Sunday instead of Saturday is that Jesus’ resurrection occurred on Sunday.
Jesus’ resurrection also coincided with the Jewish Feast of Firstfruits.

It’s evidence of God’s promise that Christians will join Jesus in heaven and live with him just as he promised.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday is also known as the Lord’s Day.

Therefore, Christians celebrate the day of Christ’s resurrection instead of the Sabbath, which is a Sunday – not a Saturday.

Is It Wrong to Go to Church on Sunday?
Knowing that some worship the Lord on Saturday instead of Sunday can leave some Christians befuddled or confused.

And that’s okay. It’s perfectly normal to be concerned about whether or not you are doing the “right” thing in Christ’s eyes.

That said, some may fear that it is wrong to attend church on Sunday. But is it?

Let’s take a look at what scripture says about worshipping on Sunday.

If we look at scripture, it is clear that there is no designated time slot for worshiping Christ.

In fact, many Bible verses proclaim that worship should be done every day, day, and night.

For example, in the Old Testament 1 Chronicles 16:23 says, “Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Tell of his salvation from day to day.”

Another great example is found in the New Testament, where it is written:

“And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”
Revelation 4:8

We see scripture come into play once more by reading Colossians 2:16.
It states explicitly to not let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink.

It states that nobody should ever be condemned for the day they worship Christ, either.
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath.

Colossians 2:16
That said, is it wrong to go to church on Sunday? Certainly not.

While the Old Testament makes it straightforward for Israel to rest and worship on the Sabbath, it is unnecessary for New Testament Christians.

Plus, you will see from most churches that services are available throughout the week. There is no limit to when you can worship the Lord.

Reno Omokri and People that follow along his line of reasoning for Saturday is the appropriate they of worship also argue that God rested on Saturday.. Therefore Saturday is the appropriate day of Worship.

Did God rest on Saturday or Sunday? Well, scripture tells us that God rested on the 7th day. We have many scriptures where the early Christains meet in the 1st day of the week for Instance;
According to the Bible, the 7th day of the week is Saturday, with the beginning of the week beginning on Sunday.

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.
Acts 20:7

This scripture is clear in Genesis 2:1-3, where the Bible states, “Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. And by the seventh day, God had finished the work He had been doing; so on that day, He rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because on that day He rested from all the work of creation that He had accomplished.”

With that in mind, God clearly took his rest on Saturday.

God gave the law to Moses on Mt. Sinai, many years after Enoch , Noah and Abraham. This means the Sabbath law was never given to Enoch, Noah or Abraham. Not even Joseph. The Sabbath law was never the way to salvation. And that also bring tithing to mind. Enoch, Noah,  Abraham , Isaac , Jacob all tithed not by law but by conviction.or by Faith. Because this Patriarch of Faith where never given any law.

There’s some confusion about Jesus proclaiming himself “Lord of the Sabbath.”

Jesus makes this claim in all three of the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke). What does this mean, exactly?

Well, according to scripture, Jesus refers to Himself as the Lord of the Sabbath to show that he has authority over the law.

Indeed Jesus fulfilled the Law and all of it’s requirements through his death on the cross. After all, he is the creator of all things.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:16

He even declares that “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” –Mark 2:27

Why Didn’t the Apostles Worship on Sunday?

Actually, the Apostles did worship at church on Sunday.

There is some confusion when it comes to the Apostles going to the synagogues on a Saturday.

If they were there to worship the Lord, then wouldn’t it be suitable for modern-day Christians to rest and worship the Lord on Saturday, too?

Well, the Apostles indeed attended the synagogues on Saturday. But while they were at the synagogues, these Apostles-most of whom were Jewish- were not there for a church service. While they were in attendance, they were there solely for missionary trips -to explain to their fellow Jews the reality of Christ’s resurrection. Read Acts 17:2 where Pastor Reno Omokri quoted you will see that Paul was in the Synagogue on Saturday not to Worship but to reason with the Jews , about Jesus Christ Glorified.

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,
Acts 17:2

The Synagogue was the best place to share the gospel message with sincere Jews who were following the Law by attending synagogue on the Sabbath. It was the perfect place to explain that Jesus Christ fulfilled the promises of the Mosaic law and the many Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament.

This act is made clear in Acts 13:42-44 where the scripture states:

“As they went out, the people begged that these things might be told to them the next Sabbath. After the synagogue meeting broke up, many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

The next Sabbath, almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.”
So, the answer is clear: apostles were not at the Synagogue to worship.
They worshipped on Sunday, as most Christians do today. I hope Mr. Reno Omokri will remove Pride whatsoever and agree with this..

How to Keep the Sabbath
Knowing that there are different “rules” for Jews might have some devout Christians confused. If Christians’ day of worship differs from Jews’, is there still a way to keep and honor the Sabbath?

Yes. You can do many things to keep the Sabbath the “Lord’s Day,” no matter which day you are celebrating it. Here’s how.

Do Not Judge
The first thing to remember is that it is ungodly for anyone to judge someone based on the day they engage in worship.

We are judged by your hearts, not the days of our worship.

And, if you pay attention to scripture, you would note that all days should include some act of worship toward the Lord.

Not only this, but some churches nowadays offer services all days of the week. Choose the service that is right for you; if it happens to fall on a Sunday, great.

If your worship takes place on the Saturday, so be it. Even Monday, Tuesday, Friday – any day is acceptable for the Lord.

Jesus is our Sabbath now.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Hebrews 4:9-10

The Law was completely filled in Him. So our Sabbath rest is also in Him.

Remember that whatever day you choose to worship does not matter. The goal is to worship the Lord. But, always remember to honour him in joyfulness.Do not think of your day of worship as a duty or something you must do. Let this be a day that you try and relax and let go of worldly things.
Relax and let God enter your heart, mind, body, and soul.

Most Christians worship on Sunday and consider it their “Sabbath” instead of the Jewish Sabbath, which occurs on Saturday. This is because the New Covenant isn’t a covenant based on rules and commands.

It is a covenant based on the fulfillment of those commands in the person of Jesus Christ. So the new covenant is the law of liberty that brings blessings as we learn to walk by faith.

Or proper response now is to enter into that rest by placing our faith and belief in the Lord of the Sabbath who fulfilled the Law on the cross.

WE CHRISTAINS HAVE A BETTER COVENANT BASED ON BETTER PROMISES THAN THE JEWS,  THEIRS IS OLD, OURS IS NEW

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Hebrews 8:6

Let us continue to educate People like Reno Omokri who have a form of Social Media influence to stop Confusion the Church of God.

Please do not Mis understand me , I never condemn those that Worship on Saturday , what I trying to say is any day you Choose to worship God is fine with our God Yahweh Elohim. In my Church apart from our Sunday Services and our Midweek Services ,  we also conduct Healing and Deliverance Services on Tuesdays and we see His Power Manifest.

REMAIN BLESSED AND HAPPY CHRISTMAS

SGF's Kinsmen Slam Sahara Reporters Over False Flag On Boko Haram Attacks

Kinsmen of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha have described a report by foreign based online news outfit, Sahara Reporters that residents of  Kwapre, Shashua and the communities around Garaha in Adamawa State are fleeing the area following attacks by Boko Haram.

The stakeholders spoke to our correspondent on phone on Tuesday, describing Sahara Reporters publication as grossly misleading.

"It is a big lie. We are not under any attack. Our people are not under any attack or fleeing their ancestral homes.

"As I speak with you, the SGF was at his village yesterday and even received visitors. Sahara Reporters should keep their mischief to themselves," Jesse Mavah said.

Also speaking, another stakeholder,  Mr. Ray Chidama said that the general public should disregard Sahara Reporters' report and move on to focus on developmental journalism.

"We were deeply shocked by the false flag which is capable of causing tension and fear among our people.

"Yesterday there were three weddings in the village, today, there were about two weddings, each attracting over 1,000 people. The SGF was even at the village today.

"At a time when our people are enjoying the Yuletide, enemies of progress came up with such falsehood. It is wicked and irresponsible journalism," he added.

The stakeholders therefore, tasked media practitioners to always verify their source of news before going to the press.

It would be recalled that Sahara Reporters had on Monday December 26, 2021, published a story with the headline, "Bandits Take Over Hometown Of Secretary To Nigerian Government, Boss Mustapha, Residents Flee Homes Over Impending Attacks."

The NIMASA DG said that besides the natural resources wasting away under the river, it could also give a boost to the tourism industry if hospitality industry invests in hotels around the river banks.

Bosaaso Should Accept President 's Deni Peace Offer

Bosaaso should take peace as called for by president Deni and build back better
But first foreign fighters who had a hand in the conflict must be scrutinized and held responsible. SAHAN Research and Halane-based Vates had a role in the violnce that aggrevated it.

Both incited violence by their stiring and manipulation of Boosaaso conflict at its initial and middle stages, respectively. SAHAN, through its Somali Wire that whipped up emotions in their characterization of the conflict actors.

Vates, through demeaning one actor  by depicting it as down and defeated, and urging the other continue with its violence and break it. Both SAHAN and Vates, foreign fighters on Somalia, should also reap from the violence that they sowed.
Between us Somalis, we all saw what happned in Boosaaso.

It’s not time to apportion blame after the courageous call for stepping back from violence to give peace a chance.
Cowards, criminals and dimwits will term Deni’s recorded video message of non-violent means of resolving the conflict cowardice and defeat.

His message was clear, “he made a decision that resulted in conflict situation that Boosaaso is in. Doesn’t think it was wrong. There’s no point crying over a spilled milk. Return to peace. It’s a lesson for Puntland to learn from.”
SAHAN and Vates are not amused that the protagonists didn’t let the violent conflict consume everything they had built in Puntland, of peace and progress. Let foreign fighters disengage from fueling Somalia’s conflict to perpetuate their war-economy.

PDP, Not Atiku Won 2019 Presidential Election - NYLF President (INTERVIEW)

*says Atiku reneged on promises

Comrade Elliot Afiyo is the National President of the Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) unarguably the most influential Youth Group in the Country that has been in the process of producing the Country’s Presidents since 1999. He is also the Secretary - General of the Association of West African Monarchs (AWAM), the umbrella body of the Traditional Rulers in West Africa. In this interview, Comrade Afiyo bares his mind on some important national issues.

Excerpts:

Let’s look at the 2023 Presidency. Are you in support of South-East?

Naturally and for fairness, equity and justice, the South-East or North-East should be allowed to produce the next president in 2023. But take a cursory and critical look at the situation on ground, you will agree with me that there is no any South-Easterner that is serious or capable of curtailing or solving the insecurity in the country. Looking at what happened during Jonathan’s administration, it will be difficult for a South-Easterner to address the Security challenges.

To my own judgment based on my professional know-how in security and intelligence, coupled with my experience on political security matrix of Nigeria, it is better to allow somebody from the North to tackle the unusual situation at hand in 2023.

Are you saying that the North-West or South-West should also be allowed?

It is not only wicked but evil for somebody to come out from the North-West or South-West to contest for the 2023 Presidency. I am telling you the truth, if somebody comes out from the North-West in 2023, the political unity of the North will be destroyed totally.

There will be nothing like Northern interest anymore. We would be having North-West, North-Central and North-East interests and that will be the political downfall of the North. It will extremely be difficult for a northerner especially from the North-West to be voted as President.

Let the North-West try it and you will see what will happen.

Sir, there is a plan for mass protests by the Northisbleeding group, are you in support of these protests?

That is what I am saying; for the past ten years, there are mass killings in the North-East, North was not bleeding. For the past five years, there have been killings in the North-Central, yet North wasn’t bleeding.

All these Mallams, Imams, the so-called “Northisbleeding” Sponsors, turned blind eyes to the atrocities and killings in the North-Central and North-East.

The North is not bleeding. If at all there is any bleeding, then it should be the North-West. So it is the North-West that is bleeding not the North which I totally agree that it is a part of the North.

The protest itself lacks credibility since it is geared towards popularizing the interests of the sponsors. As such, it should not be endorsed, encouraged or supported by the Northerners.

But it is rumoured that a serving Governor from the North-East is sponsoring the group so as to project his presidential ambition.

That is a pure and concocted lie from the pit of hell. Presently, there is no serving Governor from the North-East that has presidential interest apart from Senator Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State. If Bala is involved, I would have been the leader and organizer of the protest. Mind you, Senator Bala is an advanced citizen.

He will never engage in such mediocratic venture. I definitely know that one of the former Governors is involved with a sole purpose of drawing attention so as to get the APC National Chairmanship, and also a serving Governor from the North-West is interested in the Presidency. May be the Reporter interchanged the serving Governor from the North-West and former Governor from the North-East. That should have been the report.

Sir, let me draw your attention back to 2015 where it is believed that you played a significant role in the underground works that brought President Buhari to power. Why did you refused to do the same in 2019?

In 2015, there was a national need and desire for change that was why I played that role. In 2019, I must confess to you that all of us who played that role were disappointed. We decided that PDP should be supported and Alh. Atiku Abubakar was supported and he got the ticket.Again, we were disappointed with what Atiku did after he secured the ticket. You will recall that I led a delegation to former President Obasanjo to register our disappointment after Atiku picked Peter Obi as his running mate without consultations.

He also went to Dubai with his team and shared all the positions before coming to Nigeria to call for a meeting of the stakeholders. Thirdly, he made a right and good statement in a wrong way and time that he will privatize the NNPC.Because of these three costly mistakes or political errors, it was decided that even if he eventually wins the election, he should not be sworn in as President because there was nothing else on the table to be shared and the forces that be, both inside and outside the country, have already withdrawn their support.

I can authoritatively tell you that the 2019 Presidential election was won by the PDP not Atiku. I am sure you know what I mean.

But Sir, do you foresee another scenario that will be repeated in 2023?

Of course yes, for two reasons:One: There is a very high desire for change now than in 2015. The rural north is ready for a change. They are ready to vote for anything but APC.Two: President Buhari has assured the nation and the international community of his willingness and readiness to bequeath a legacy of free, fair and transparent elections in 2023 both orally and in written form and he has been doing that in all the elections conducted after 2015 general elections.

He has sworn severally that he will adhere strictly to that because he needs peace after retirement.

So you are sure PDP will win the 2023 elections?

I am pretty sure but with conditions. The PDP has made the first mistake of producing her National Chairman from the North-Central instead of the North-West or South-West. I strongly believe that this mistake will be rectified after the emergence of the presidential candidate which must come from the North East.

Are you saying this because you are from the North-East?

No, I am saying it because I am involved and I want the right thing to be done so as to get the desired result. Truly if PDP produced her presidential candidate from any other Zone, then it is good as mortgaging her brightest chances in 2023.

Mind you, I am not only a political Scientist but an Intelligence Political Expert who is directly involved in this game since 1992.

Thank you Comrade.

You are welcome.

2023 IS A HARVEST TIME FOR THE PDP AND ATIKU ABUBAKAR, IF, AND ONLY IF........

By: Dr Sani Adamu

I wish to begin this piece with a question. What is the goal of PDP by 2023? What is it that

needs to be accomplished? What are the political parameters or constraints towards achieving the goals in 2023? Who needs to be involved? What are the assumptions? What could come or get between PDP and Success?

I will also attempt to provide a few answers to PDP by declaring that “PDP, Know what season we’re in”. How can I tell PDP the season it is used to years back has ended? Because the GRACE that ensured electoral victory in the past is no longer there? What was once easy, is now hard. The PDP can only be fruitful in its season. That is where Blessings and Success occur. The Party can’t just do it whenever it wants to. It must be in God’s appointed time. When the right season comes, its effortless for a tree to produce what is stored within it.

Spring, Summer, Autunm and Winter are the seasons the PDP have experienced. In this next

round of election in 2023, the PDP is in its Autumn- a seasoned Veteran, working smarter and not harder, to prepare for the coming Winter of elections, to accomplish our goals, enjoy the successes with Nigerians, deliver on our promises, keep the faith, and finish the course successfully. If the PDP, does it right, subsequent seasons can be the best one in the life of the Party and Nigerians, and foundation for power shift to wherever the Party dictates could be accomplished with less effort.

At this time, God is redirecting the energies of the PDP to look within, to look to the seed it has sown long ago, through leaders like Atiku Abubakar, and the wisdom of the leadership of the Party and achieve the goals of 2023, with less effort, and less resources than the past. Only Godknows for how long He has kept the promise of leadership of Nigeria in the heart of Atiku Abubakar. Atiku’s previous disappointments in winning the presidential elections is God’s way of saying, the PDP needs you, when things get harder, for through you, it could be made simple.

The promise God made to the PDP and Atiku Abubakar was post-dated to 2023.

For the PDP to win the 2023 Presidential and other elections, Atiku Abubakar must be willing to lead, irrespective of the feelings, relationships, goals, jobs, and even homes of the other leaders and followers of the Party.

Please don’t get me wrong, I am only calling on my fellow supporters of the PDP and Nigerian to let go of their feelings of anger and resentment, and ambitions whose time have yet to come, let them all pass, for they will turn out to be healthier choices for us all. Hold steady and trust God, and trust Atiku Abubakar to take us back to Aso Rock. It would seem like miracle to the Party and Nigerians, but we must surrender our plans to the will of God, and let God perform His wonders. The PDP and Atiku Abubakar are at the right place at the right time.

Success comes when others can use the things they do with happiness, enjoyment, with their

effort, knowledge, money, and the goodwill of Nigerians. Atiku Abubakar has created his own luck over time.

In my past assessments of Atiku Abubakar in 2011, 2015 and 2019, I termed those moments as Atiku’s moments. But it came to pass that our prediction and expectations could not be

realized, not because they were not his seasons, but because natural and man-made disasters came along the way and swept away all the sweats and resources poured into the period, which did not yield fruits.

I need to keep this write up as short as possible, just enough to convey the most important

message currently. The devil is in the details, and this will come gradually in their time and

season. I have foreseen that if my wake-up call is heeded, the future details will take shape

gradually, smoothly, and successfully, with less effort and financial resources.

I begin by a prophetic postulation, not made by soothsayers, but made from simple observations of events and the cycles of time, season, and political harvests. The 2023

Presidential election would be won by the PDP and Atiku Abubakar as the President and commander-in-Chief. I will quickly add that, if, and only if, the PDP realizes that all it needs to do, is to put its house in order, ensure a rancor-free convention, orderly and transparent

presidential nomination.

We no longer must spend an entire or two just to nominate a Presidential Candidate. We can spend night after night strategizing and shaping policies and politics, but certainly not sleepless night at the square.

The Rt. Hon. Fintiri Convention Committee brought innovations, that makes conventions colourful, swift and the best in the history of PDP. Money is a great enabler, but he didn’t allowed it to play a visible role in all the internal affairs of PDP.

This is a practice of the past and must be discarded forthwith. The past PDP Presidential nominations have been very costly, very divisive, full of internal intrigues and backstabbing, wasteful, leaving very little energy, resources, goodwill, and team spirit, for the main Presidential Contest. Be rest assured that the Stingingly Corrupt APC Administration will deploy more money, but this blood money will not work for the good of Nigerians, because no amount of money from the public treasure will ever make up for loss of lives, properties through banditry, kidnappings, insecurity, brazen display of nepotism and abject poverty of the past seven years

The reason Atiku Abubakar and the PDP would make the 2023 Presidential election a harvest time is because of the past resources deployed and the political machinery and infrastructure invested over the years. Until the PDP deliberately cashes on it past investments and do away with all forms of internal money politics and intrigue, the 2023 elections could still be tough and unnecessarily costly.

Secondly, Atiku Abubakar’s reservoir of political capital in Nigeria today, is still intact and

growing Atiku Abubakar is a ready man for the Presidency of Nigeria. This means that if the PDP could put its house in order and rally behind Atiku Abubakar, marketing him to Nigerians could be the easiest of any Presidential Candidate alive today. Unless PDP shows the ways, Nigerians could be led astray again. We have already seen purposeful Nigerians coming together outside the structure of all the Political Parties structure, with the Vision to redirect the affairs of this Country. The PDP and Atiku Abubakar as the Presidential candidate have similar vision and would very likely join forces with these brilliant Nigerians to salvage the Country.

Thirdly, we have so many positives on Atiku Abubakar to tell Nigerians. Already, Nigerians have come to realize that what Atiku postulated in his campaign manifestoes in 2019 are now being shoddily copied and haphazardly being implemented by the APC Government. It is however too late in the day for the APC to make any meaningful positive changes in the economic lives of Nigerians. Atiku Abubakar is a global citizen and understands the political economy.

In the 2019 elections, we believed PDP had a winning team. The permutations for 2023 could throw in surprises, which may require the review of strategies.

Fourthly, this decision requires the full and active participation of the leadership of the PDP-

from BOT, NEC and NWC. So many decisions of the party leaders could be dictated by so many

things which could unfold as we are nearing 2023. A new paradigm shift for decision making

and the deployment of resources must also be made to ensure accountability, transparency,
effectiveness, and efficiency.

A proper post-mortem of the 2019 election must be undertaken with the full participation of the grassroot of the Party at all levels. All identified lapses and shortcoming must be addressed fully and implemented immediately. It must also be seen to have been remedied for the good of the Party.

Strong and loyal Party faithful like Gov. Nyesom Wike must be acknowledge for their contribution to ensuring the survival of the Party through difficult times. Governor is warrior and always requires special mention.

All the PDP juggernauts from the Northern part of this Country needs to sacrifice whatever ambition they could rightly have at this time, and work with Atiku Abubakar to deliver Nigeria first. For our brothers from Southern Part of Nigeria, the current wisdom is that an Atiku presidency in 2023 is the surest path to Power Shift to the South, post 2023. Atiku Abubakar understands the politics, his heart is in it, he will ensure equity for all Nigerian, build consensus and Govern Nigeria for the sake of Progress and inclusion, prosperity for all, equity for all, good governance, and rekindle the fire of patriotism, which is in all of us.

Fifthly, it is our collective duty to show the way, the easy way, not the ways of PDP in 2015 and 2019. It must be the simple and transparent way, achieved through consensus building,
grassroot politics and the love of Country. The do or die contests within PDP must never rare its ugly head again.

The unnecessary long processes of keeping elderly party leaders throughout the night doing

nothing but waiting for delegates to cast their vote and the expensive Party nominations and Conventions must be replaced with innovative and inclusive process, deploying technology to shorten lengthy processes, and cutting costs of stay in hotels promoting nothing, but Party intrigues and corruption.

Every PDP leader at all levels, from Ward to State and the FCT must work with the grassroot to deliver the votes to PDP and Atiku Abubakar. Any attempt by anyone in the PDP to introduce money politics into the 2023 elections will surely be rejected by Party faithful and Nigerians. The PDP can never come close to the corrupt APC Administration. The previous practice of Pot calling Kettle Black is over. The PDP must come clean immediately. The goal of returning to AsoRoack in 2023 cannot be achieved unless Nigerians see a clean internal politics of the PDP from the convention to the nominations.

I wish to call on Sen. Saraki, Sen. Kwankwaso, Gov. Tambuwal, Gov. Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State to conserve energy, resources, and the goodwill of the people to fight the strong enemies of Nigerians in the APC and the PMB Presidency. Based on the antecedents of Atiku Abubakar, no person would be left out of his Administration. The North and the Country have high expectations of all PDP leaders, especially those from the North. We must play our games well now, to ensure the PDP and Atiku Abubakr returns to Aso Rock in 2023.

I have tried to lay a solid foundation for the next game of Politics within the PDP. Let’s come together, let’s work with progressive Nigerians and rescue the country.

The APC and PMB have nothing to bequeath this Country except corruption, insecurity, banditry, kidnapping, massive youth unemployment, nepotism and that the same situation the APC and PMB wish to handover to one of them to continue. We say never again! Never Again!!

Not APC, Not Buhari’s nominated successor. Enough is enough. The Gurus of CHANGE have

become blind to see the consequences of their change.

The APC Administration have offended Nigerians, we should join and get knitted together in the common fight to remove APC from power. The treasure and the money of Nigeria is now in a few hands, and that is why we are starving. Money is like muck, not good except it be spread. PMB promoted the politics of populism and envy of all who are doing economically well. That strategy may have been good at winning election, but they clearly are not good at running successful economies.

To return to the subject of Atiku Abubakar and conclude this initial piece, it is important that

we remind Nigerians who Atiku Abubakar is. However, the relationship within PDP must be one based on trust, respect, and patriotism, because all relationships are the foundation for everything good in life.

People who bring negativity and judgement into the countdown to 2023 will make things harder for the PDP to return to Aso Roack. Nigerian have lost the era between 2015-2023, making Nigeria full of fear, spite, with the fabrics of our life tearing away, with no guarantee that our children will climb a little above our own lives.

I wish to solicit that all the Presidential material from the North and South within the PDP

should accord this respect to Atiku and ensure that the Presidential nomination would merely fulfilling electoral regulations and seeking the agreement of party faithful directly or through delegates to present him as the PDP Candidate in the 2023 Presidential election, not because the PDP lack smart candidates to fiercely contest with Atiku, but because the times we are in, calls for smart political moves.

The Presidency of Atiku Abubakar will be colorful and effective. Patriotism will return, love of Country will return, prosperity will return, and unity and strength will return. The North-South divide will melt away from day one.

The defining challenge of the PDP will be the ability to create and sustain economic growth. PDP must ensure that voters are not subjective or influenced by many things other than the Public good.

The PDP is the right place to value Atiku Abubakar, the right way. Nigerians know and appreciates his value.

When Atiku Abubakar spoke of the capacity of the PDP to resolve every internal crisis, he

understood it to always shape, guide, and help the Party forward.

He knew it gives the Party a new direction, a new purpose, and close its doors to distraction. It is a period to learn about ourselves. Crisis also bring to the fore, the wish of some people for things they are not prepared for. But at the end of the day, a new solution is found, which make us to gradually evolve to be better than we were. Atiku Abubakar will help the PDP activate the highest potential we are known for and make us happy with each other.

We are vehemently against any form of expensive and divisive internal politicking at all levels of the Party. We have presented Atiku Abubakar, who is prepared to succeed through the practice of good conduct and sincerity, which can never be repressed. He brings in everything required to succeed. If ten efforts are required from the team, Atiku brings in one hundred team members, if one hundred team effort is required, he brings in a thousand more efforts to succeed.

In government, Atiku Abubakar prevailed based on good principles, out of office, he did notchange.

In fact, his energy became firmer, and he shared forbearance and gentleness in

working with others. This moment belongs to Atiku Abubakar, the PDP and Nigerians who look forward to positive change, peace, unity, security, and economic progress and YES, WE CAN!

I begin by a prophetic postulation, not made by soothsayers, but made from simple
observations of events and the cycles of time, season, and political harvests. The 2023
Presidential election would be won by the PDP and Atiku Abubakar as the President and
Commander-in-Chief.

The Rt. Hon. Fintiri Convention Committee brought innovations, that makes
conventions colourful, swift and the best in the history of PDP.

Nyesom Wike must be acknowledge for their
contribution to ensuring the survival of the Party through difficult times. Governor is warrior
and always requires special mention.
All the PDP juggernauts from the Northern part of this Country needs to sacrifice whatever
ambition they could rightly have at this time, and work with Atiku Abubakar to deliver Nigeria first.

Let’s come
together, let’s work with progressive Nigerians and rescue the country.

The APC and PMB have nothing to bequeath this Country except corruption, insecurity,
banditry, kidnapping, massive youth unemployment, nepotism and that the same situation the APC and PMB wish to handover to one of them to continue.

However, the relationship within PDP must be one based on trust, respect, and patriotism, because all relationships are the foundation for
everything good in life.

In government, Atiku Abubakar prevailed based on good principles, out of office, he did not
change. In fact, his energy became firmer, and he shared forbearance and gentleness in
working with others. This moment belongs to Atiku Abubakar, the PDP and Nigerians who look forward to positive change, peace, unity, security, and economic progress….and YES, WE CAN!
