NUT President Demands Priotisation of Teachers Welfare

"Education to be transformed and developed, teachers welfare is of Paramount importance. Not only that;seminars, workshops, and conference's be organised for teachers to become effectively equipped with their teaching techniques and skills,this can only be possible of schools are fully founded and provided with necessary instructionals facilities required for effective teaching and learning".
He however urged the state ministry of education to establish a favourable working conditions of service for teachers such as tenure in office or job,salaries,fringe benefits, determination of teachers certification and qualifications.
While interviewed with newsmen,the state teachers Union chairman Kaduna state wing, Comrade Ibrahim Dalhatu, explained that " we gathered here once again to mark the annual observance of this year world teachers day, a day set aside since 1994 by united nations educational, scientific and cultural organization (UNESCO).
He however called on the teachers to require passionate commitment and broad range of complex knowledge and skills, also need to be skilled in managing students.
