NACPDAN demand collaboration with KDDG over sale of charcoal

The national organising secretary, national association of charcoal producers, dealers afforestation of Nigeria Abdulsalam Abubakar Rijana, has called on the Kaduna state government to collaborate in providing the modern techniques for the production of charcoal in the state.
The national leader made the called while interviewed the newsmen recently in Kaduna.
He however urged the state government to lift the banned of charcoal and trees considered it's values and in favoured of, and inability for the society in  affording the gas slinder,while the charcoal are only alternative in providing kitchen solutions to the Conan man.
"We also seeking the Kaduna state government to provide a maximum hectares of land for the plantation of charcoal trees, considered it' had highest erable lands for the plantation of charcoal seed's trees in Nigeria".
The organising secretary however noted that, the charcoal industry is contributing the national income on importation unlike other products, in various African, Asian and European countries.
"I also wanted the Kaduna state government for being aware that the economic tree's are not use in charcoal processing, the trees mainly uses in making charcoal are not useful in the society.
" and their are other materials for processing and would servicemen as cocking materials, without the use of charcoal trees; the use of cow shit and the cotted Banana trees".
