Empowerment: Reps Member Samaila Suleiman Sets To Shower 100M Naira On 10,000 Constituents

By Gambo Abubakar

All arrangements have been concluded by a Federal Legislator  Malam Samaila Suleiman to dole out One Hundred Million Naira as empowerment on 10,000 most vulnerable members of his Kaduna North  Constituency.

Hon. Suleiman, is a Member currently Representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency and also a Candidate of People's Democratic Party's (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 House of Reps election for Kaduna North, the empowerment programme have started on Friday last week and to  end on Monday and Wednesday 7, 2022.

Based on information gathered, the beneficiaries were carefully selected from 12 wards across Kaduna North Federal Constituency whom would be given 10 thousand naira each to alleviate hardship faced across the country.

It noted  that 3000 people from the Constituency had earlier benefitted from the programme , adding that the cash sharing gesture would be a continuous one until a large chunk of persons in need had been adequately covered.

" It unsettles me seeing people grappling with  unbearable hardship brought upon them by this present administration which has no immediate plans of lifting Nigerians out of poverty and life of misery.

" The situation is so bad and pathetic that most households cannot feed three times daily, with many going to beds on empty stomachs.

" Nigerians have lost hope in this administration which has been borrowing year in year out  with nothing to show as positive impacts executed with the borrowed sum.

" So I have decided with the little I have to cushion the effects of bad governance this country has been plunged into so the less privileged in my Constituency could smile too.

" A reasonable number of youth and women have benefitted over the years from various empowerment items such as Sewing, Grinding and Irrigation machines, Keke Napep, Cash, Cars etc.

" Many have been trained on various vocations and provided with startup kits to enable them fend for themselves and be self-reliant in this current economic bottleneck.

" I intend to make it a continuous support programme to empower my people so they will feel the dividends of democracy they have been denied by the present administration at federal and state level , " he said.
