IFC's Global Int'l Agency donates food items to over 200 Adamawa Widows

A team of International Financial Corporation (IFC) have visited Yola, Adamawa State, and made donationsss of food items to over 200 Widows.

IFC through its Global International Agency in its Charity mandate targeted the women who are mostly elderly for the gesture to support them.

IFC official, Prof. Victoria Adams while making the presentation said the gifts are on behalf of IFC's global international agency team Charity’s program, a sort of palliative to ease the economic excruciating pains being experienced in many parts of the country.
IFC in collaboration with Yide Empowerment Foundation has got the elderly women/widows and presented 25kg bags of rice amidst tears of Joy from the beneficiaries.

Victoria explained that IFC maintain a social corporate responsibility for many years to quite several communities across the country. A mandate they set to achieve more shortly.

She said the group's contribution to those in need in society is within their cardinal objective of showing love to humanity.

"This is how the team has always been, given back to the society.  The IFC hopes to do more of this in almost every state of the federation." Victoria said

She intimated that the Global International Agency Team is a financial institution operated by IFC in Nigeria and the agency team operates on the 86fb City Football platform.

She stated that the goal of IFC and the global International Agency team is to see everyone enjoying financial freedom, adding value to society by contributing to the welfare of less privileged, individuals and children.

"We welcome everyone who attends this event. We Sincerely thank our helpers, IFC's global international agency team for the gifts, and City Football 86fb for providing the platform on which the team operates. We also appreciate Yide Empowerment Foundation through whom we were able to get the women." She said
