In all ramifications, there's a gradual shift in the Nigerian Political nomenclature from where few elites decides or dictates candidature vying for particular positions to the electorates power of votes reflecting a true Democratic architecture . The new dimension is that political aspirants are being chosen based on their outstanding performances while occupying public offices. These gestures have reduced alot of parties campaigns and persuasive programmes and jinggles in the media to a self believe and decision in casting votes for candidates with good track of records toward achieving a better civilized society for socioeconomic development. A critical cast towards the last 2019 General Elections in all the tiers of governments, you will discover that most of the politicians in occupying power today won their various positions by the electorates conviction with less party gimmicks but their politician dispositions guarded by reputations and antecedents. A typical personality with attributes that wons the masses favour was President Muhammadu Buhari, despite parties merger his outstanding character persuaded many Nigerians who came out en mass and voted for him into Power without a rethink.
Narrowing this episode down to Taraba state; one of the Northeast Geo-political states craved out from Gongola state under the Military Regime of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babagida over 30years ago. The state has witnessed a lot of Governorship tenures with different capacities in terms of performances. Though, only few of these Governors have done tremendous well in moving the state towards achieving a greater height. A comparative paradigm of Taraba state with her pairs especially Gombe state created same day, indicates that despite her echelons of abundant mineral resources as it is acronymed ''Nature's Gift to the Nation' Taraba is still lacking behind in terms of socioeconomic, infrastructures, industrial and human capital development most especially in the areas of Agriculture, Mining, Aviation, Roads network, Energy, Industry Among others. Are still begging for a workaholic and technocrat Governor to drive the economy of the state.
This huge lapses created by the ignorant of some Governors has continue to set the state backward thereby becoming a 'bone on the neck' powdering on the minds of Crème de la creme (shakers and decision-makers of the state) and the entire Tarabians with a decision to 'think outside the box' by getting it right in 2023 General election, especially for the Governorship seat. The state is necessiting a man with dozens of ideas, a sincere astute politician to wear the Governor's cap. This call has gone beyond political interest but the masses decision. After a thorough survey apolitically conducted within the four walls of Taraba state with an optimistic idealogy to move the state forward, the only name among other politicians that keeps ringing bells and twinkling down the lenses is that of Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Bwacha. This is not because of his position as one of longest serving lawmaker or Principal legislators in the red chamber but because he's a freespirited person and technocrat with the capacity to move the state to a greater height. The serving Senator is a visionary leader with a calmly, fairness attributes to all Tarabians - crisscrossing the cultural ethnic groups, religious diversity among the people. His witty dispositions in handling legislative issues has capture the hearts of the entire communities in Taraba horizon as the best candidate for the Governor seat in 2023 general election considering the fact the songs of his name ' Senator Emmanuel Bwacha has become apex of discussions among young and olds in the four walls of Taraba State on daily basis. It is a known fact that the electorates are ready to vote for Senator Bwacha on whatever Political party platform as their priority lies on his quality performance, cheerfulness to the people.
A further search, peeping into the gigantic achievements of Senator Bwacha in all spheres - state and national level as a lawmaker since the democracy suspension at the National Assembly, speaks volumes anyday anytime among the electorates and elites. He has a dozens of bills sponsored, cosponsored, onsponsoring and passed by the National Assembly.
Hundreds of thousand electorates in his Constituency have benefited employment and empowerments programmes for decades. The entire Tarabians have benefitted the infrastructural development he has structured in the state. Just for emphasis, Senator Bwacha singlehandedly sponsored the bill that birthed the establishment of Federal University of Wukari during the Former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration from 2011 to 2015 and he's still remains the backbone of the Institution in terms of equipping it with educational resources.

For instance he awarded scholarship to 1,582 Students across the zone between 2014-2021, supplied 1000 copies of exercise books to schools in Takum LGA, 1000 copies of Exercise books to the primary Schools in Donga LGA, Constructed block of 3 classrooms and office at Mu-Yerima Primary School DONGA LGA, Constructed and furnished a block of 3 classroom and Headmaster office at Kutukok in Kwesati ward of USSA LGA, supplied 500 copies of exercise books to primary schools in Ibi LG, Construction of a block of three classroom in Central Primary School Wukari, Installed ICT Center inside Wukari LGA Secretariat, Construction of Laboratory Complex at the Federal University Wukari and we'll equipped. Donated Bus to Federal University, Wukari, trained 750 candidates under NDE Programme, facilitated the nomination of 230 indigenes of STSD who participated in the computer Excel proficiency program organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, sponsored (152) indigenes to participate in NDE training programme to obtain loan to start their businesses across the zone. facilitated the nomination of four (4) indigenes of STSD for Vocational Training in poultry production at the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Vom, Jos. Facilitated the training of 36 Youths on how to repair, handle and use Tractors across the zone, facilitated the training of 52 Youths on how to maintain and repair Boreholes in across the zone. Organized and sponsored team of surgeons from United State of America and some Nigerian Doctors in free Medical Services where over 500 patients were treated on various ailments between 2nd to 30th March 2014 .
On Road projects he constructed and rehabilitated several roads accross his Constituency as the records are there. Some of them are the Construction of Donga-Suntai road 44km, Construction of streets across Mararraba Town, Donga LGA, constructed the Mararraba-Donga Road ongoing, Rehabilitation of Wukari/Ibi Road, Contributed to the completion of work on Wukari-Takum road, Distributed 600 motorcycles to Deserved Beneficiaries to ease Transportation across the zone, distributed six (6) Siena buses to party Chairman within the zone. Distributed sixty eight (68) vehicles to party loyalist across the zone. supported all the new elevated Chiefs and political Elders with (34) brand highlander Jeeps across the zone. supported all the District Heads with brand new motorcycles across the zone, Distributed 2,500 units of assorted keke Napap across the zone, empowered the electorates with buses, cars, motorcycles, grinding Machines etc on 11th October, 2013.
Concerning the Security of lives and properties the Senator facilitated the establishment of police barracks in Takum LGA, construction of police Barracks in Donga town, Construction of mobile Police Barracks in Mararaba Donga L.G.A, facilitated the upgrade of Mararaba Police Station, to “B” Division. Fencing of Mararaba Police Station, Construction of Police quarters in Mararraba Donga L.G, Construction of Magistrate court in Mararaba Donga L.G, Fencing of the Police Barrack Wukari , Construction of Police Barracks Border (On-going Project) Akwana ward Wukari LGA, Construction of Police Post Building in Arufu, Wukari. Donations of 15 Hilux vans and 32 Motorcycles security across southern Taraba among other executions.
In effort to ensure foods availability in the state, the Lawmaker prioritize the Agricultural Sector. He supported 500 Farmers with 50,000 each across his Constituency. Distributed one hundred and five (105) Tricycles to loyalist across the zone, empowered over 2600 youths with farm tools, seeds across the zone to enhance Agricultural activities and he facilitated the payment of 30,000 to 300 people each (Survival Fund) in southern Taraba, distributed 32 units of Tractors to farmers within the zone, distributed 256 units of grinding across the zone.
In terms of employment and empowerments with the target of improving the standard of living for his people. Senator Bwacha is a man with people's hearts. He has distributed two hundred and fifty six (256) units of grinding machines across the zone, distributed (244) Units of sewing machines across the zone, he empowered 2200 widows across the zone (22/12/2017). He distributed 2,325 bundles of Roofing zinc sheets across the zone. He trained 10 Youths from his constituency for rice processing in Benue State . He provided employment to 515 people in his zone in both Federal and State Government started from 2015-2020. He awarded scholarship to 1,582 Students across the zone started from 2014-2021, I distributed 74,500 bags of branded rice started from 2014-2020 across the zone.
In other to ensure effective power supply across the zone, he supplied one unit of transformers to INEC office, Takum town, Installation of SKVA, 20 AKVA power generator at Sabo Gida Dispensary Lissan II ward of USSA LGA, Installation of electricity transformer adjacent protocol to Aku-uka Wukari, Installation of one electricity transformer located at GDSS MamaraWapan-Nghanku area in Wukari town, Installation of SKVA, 20 AKVA power generator at Akete Dispensary in Akete ward of Donga LGA, Installation of SKVA, 20 AKVA power generator at Pwadzu Dispensary in Avyi ward wukari LGA. Installed Solar stands at Mararaba in Donga, facilitated the construction of Kamshimbilla Dam in Takum LG,
As the saying goes ' health is wealth' the Senator constructed Primary Health Care Centre in Mararaba town in Donga, Construction of Maternity Clinic in Nwuban village Wukari LGA, Distributed (6) Six Ambulances to hospitals in the zone, Two 18seaters buses and one Hilux van to BIODEC Tunari Wukari LGA, Construction of MINI-GRID @ PHC Kumbo Gidin Dutse ward Donga.
To the elites of Taraba state, though politics is a game of interest and a win-win situation for the cabals but not a do or die affairs. Therefore, a Clarion call for a reputable personality of Senator Emmanuel Bwacha who is a grassrooter and always mingles with every 'Tom, dick and harry' to wear the Taraba Governor's cap is the last decision at the moment to transform the economic downturn of the state. A readjustment for collective interest of Tarabians whether South, Central or North lies on the production of a technocrat Sen. BWACHA who knows his onions in executing good governance. Taraba at over 30years of creation can't afford in 2023 to be swimming in the hands of learners who will take some years to catch-up, when other states are already catching the sky in their performance indices at this digital age. The vast experiences and expertises of Senator Bwacha remains sacrosanct as the only Politician who can splendidly tour the affairs of Taraba state in 2023. All we expect is optimism for state.
To the masses, queue in and get your Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) which remains your power to change the situation if the elites fail on this consensus moves because 'Truth needs no evidence'. Among all the aspiring candidates for the Taraba Governorship race cutting across all parties line, we have dissected their records in various capacities and discovered that there is no better candidate than Senator Bwacha, so we Tarabians can't afford to waste another 8years again, Enough is enough. Fortunately, contemplation and clandestine mindsway should begin to unfolds among political parties hardliners, social groups in the state on concensus template for Sen. Bwacha as the only political technocrat needed to transform the mess in the state for a business lucrutive and Industrial centre that will attracts more domestic and foreign visitors, government agencies and parastatals and the private investors as the state is blessed with natural resources.
