Peace Corp Stands Ready To Contribute Its Quota To The Fight Against Criminality - CG Mustapha

Nigeria Peace corps is determined to contribute it's quota towards  fighting abduction of students by bandits in the country. Commandant general of the corps Dr. Mustapha Muhammad confirmed this while speaking to Radio Nigeria.

The Commandant general said the corps  has come up with strategies that would assist  citizens to escape attacks by bandits.

He said apart from strategies initiated by the corps to tackle bandits, they were also prepared to work with security agencies in the country to reduce crimes.

Dr Mustapha Muhammad further expressed dismay at the way bandits were out to destroy steps taken by government to improve the education sector in the country.

The commandant general assured that as soon as the peace Corp bill was given presidential accent, they would be more courgeous in addressing security challenges bedeviling the country.

He therefore  appealed to the government to speed up the process of giving legal backing to the peace corps bill at this point that their services were highly needed.

On the issue of negotiations between government  bandits, CG said although they always welcome government idiology towards matters arising but he want government to re-thing about it.

Dr Mustapha Muhammad enjoined Nigerians to be security concious and work with security agencies to deal with criminal elements in the country.
