Zainab Ahmed Foundations Awards Scholarship To Indigent Students In KASU

Zainab Ahmad Foundation has honoured a scholarship awards to the best students of Kaduna state university (KASU) for their outstanding performance in 2021 academic session.
The awards was presented during a workshop and award ceremony organised by the foundation, recently held at ASAA Pyramid Hotel Kaduna.
According to the Jamila Idris, a consultant working with the Hajiya Zainab Shamsuna Ahmad, the honourable minister of finance, also the founder of the foundation, explained that"the aims of this expanding possibilities project is to eradicate poverty and bridge the gender gap in Nigeria and Africa at Large".
"with the mission to equip women and youth in the continent and create opportunities for economic stability.and the core values of; respect for human rights,equity, innovation and empowerment".
She however noted that" the expanding possibilities project seeks to; empower graduating students with skills to improve their competences for a successful transition to a career of choice.
Inspire academic excellence in students to break the poverty cycle and expanding their possibilities for better future and provide support to students struggle for financial difficult ies having outstanding academic excellence.she added.
Also speaking at the ceremony, the academic secretary KASU, Hajiya Samira Umar Balarabe,called on the public to keep encouraging their children and the younger one to acquired a both formal and informal education.
She also commended the honourable minister Zainab Ahmad for her support in encouragement and motivating youth mostly less  prevellege and those that has limited access to education for lack of opportunity and financial handicap.
While speaking on be half of the awardees, a post graduate student department of economic KASU, Isyaku Musa, expressed their appreciation for the award and promised to be the good ambassadors to the Kaduna state, KASU and the Zainab Ahmad foundation.
He however called on the public to embraced peace and accept the community development services (CDS).
"we are greaful with the minister of finance Zainab Ahmad for the kind of gesture, and encouragement at the point of this competitive labour market in the country.
