Nigerian Ambassador to Czech Rep meets FIFA officials, the partner's host country for talent hunt

Knowing Nigeria with great potential in the area of sports, especially football, the Nigerian envoy to the Czech Republic, His Excellency, Ambassador Kevin Peter had a very fruitful meeting With the President football Association of the Czech Republic.


At the meeting, Peter had a fruitful discussion with Czech Republic's FIFA President, Mr. Petr Fousek at the FACR Headquarters in Prague.

During the bilateral meeting in the area of sport, the duo countries discussed how to develop cooperation between the Nigeria Football Association (FA) and the Czech Republic (FA).

Peter said Nigeria is a country with great talented young men and women in sports, especially football, Czech Republic will achieve a lot from the partnership where talented football will be hunted across the two countries.

Peter, while intimating our correspondent via telephone chat said the motive behind the bilateral meeting is to establish a cordial relationship in the area of football.

He said Nigeria is so blessed with many talented footballers in and outside the country that the Czech Republic will benefit.

His Excellency Peter with Nigerian FA's  Vice President,  Dr. Siliak Jiri and the General Manager, Michal Walter and the Head of Chancery (HOD),  Ahmed Azare, and other officials from the duo embassies, Mr. Abel Dangana and Mr. Michael Sobota from Znojmo.

Kevin gave a close example of how a Nigerian footballer, Peter Olayinka currently plays with SK Slavia football club in Prague and is the captain of the team.

"A Lot were discussed at this level and more will be discussed later when the management of the two Associations meet soon," Kevin said
