A Pro Northern Group simply known as Arewa Progressives Forum has congratulated a Kaduna based Politician and philantrophist, Lawal Jibrin Tafida for bagging a doctorate degree from Federal University Lokoja, saying it was a well-deserved award .
In a press statement signed by the coordinator of the sociocultural group in kaduna, Musa Makarfi eulogized philantrophist and numerous community development projects he noted Tafida had been carrying out to contribute his quota in advancing the good of the society.
He described Tafida as a selfless individual whose passion for peace and growth of the society cannot be overemphasized, adding that youth and women particularly, children from less privileged homes had benefitted immensely and their lives made better through regular dole outs of cash by the grassroots politician.
" We at this forum are so proud of one of our illustrious sons who has distinguished himself through hard work, service to humanity and in addition raising the bar in philantrophist activities for others to emulate.
" We must appreciate Senate and management of Federal University Lokoja for finding our own in a sea of others worthy and deserving of a recognition with a honorary doctorate degree in Economics.
" It is our conviction that good people be acknowledged and commended in our midst because it will go a long way in pushing them to do more in the betterment of the society which is in desperate need for help and support from the privileged few, " Makarfi said.
