The newly confirmed Bishop of Methodist diocese of Sokoto, Reverend Ishaya Kunama has saluted the efforts of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara state's governors for maintaining peace and order despite the insecurity dwelling the region.
Reverend Kunama made the recommendations during an interviewed with newsmen's in Sokoto.
According to the Bishop of the Methodist diocese, however commended the efforts of security agencies, traditional rulers, religious bodies and the general public for their contributions and hardworking in tackling the menace of kidnapping, cattle's rustling and the banditry facing the States.
He prayed God to grant to all fortitude to been their irreparable lose, and may also God almighty to put in the hearts of the aggrieved parties the spirit of reconciliation and forgiveness knowing that "to err is human while to forgive is divine".
" I used this opportunity to called on the good citizens of this great nation Nigeria to adopt the habit of forgiveness, knowing that Christ (Jesus)camed to the world in order to teach; love ness, together ness,forgiveness, peace and harmony".
He however prayed for God to create a peaceful atmosphere for people's to live together in peace and harmony devoid of ethnic, religious or political difference's.
Right Reverend Ishaya Kunama is a nationalist and activist who dedicated himself on religious and humanitarian services.
He will inaugurated as newly confirmed Bishop of Methodist diocese on first December 2022, by the leadership of prefate Emeritus Dr Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche (jn).
